The skid plate on a Colorado Z71 is a joke. It is made of plastic. I broke mine by backing up in snow. Apparently, it was pushing snow backward as I was driving and was enough to break it. I replaced it with a steel plate. I plan on replacing my Colorado with a Ranger one day. :-)

Lariat does not have leather seats, it has leather TRIMMED seats. So mostly "pleather" like my Colorado I suppose.

For anyone who did the test drive - did you have to pay to attend the auto show? I really don't want to pay to get into the auto show just to drive the Ranger, especially if it is a short drive around the clink. I'll just wait for a test drive at a dealer instead. Thanks!
