Even if EVs were affordable, they're not even on my radar until technology (and the power grid) makes them practical. Maybe someday, but not today.

Right now electric cars are on my radar, but in a very limited scope.
Pricing is clearly a limiting factor, as well as range. pretty common concerns from most people.
I like that there is many options available now. But the longevity of these cars/trucks has me holding off on any plans to add an electric car to my stable.

The one a neighbor bought was replaced with an ice vehicle after 6 months. Our cold climate sucked a lot of energy keeping the batteries warm when sitting, heat and defrost cuts down range, and driving in snow has a lot of resistance that raises power consumption and cuts down on regenerative braking. Definitely not a good choice for cold climates.

It was so obvious this was going to happen. They can push EVs as hard as they want to but if people don't have the money they just don't have it. Idiots can't even screw themselves with a 10 year car loan anymore cause they raised the rates.
