The one a neighbor bought was replaced with an ice vehicle after 6 months. Our cold climate sucked a lot of energy keeping the batteries warm when sitting, heat and defrost cuts down range, and driving in snow has a lot of resistance that raises power consumption and cuts down on regenerative braking. Definitely not a good choice for cold climates.Right now electric cars are on my radar, but in a very limited scope.
Pricing is clearly a limiting factor, as well as range. pretty common concerns from most people.
I like that there is many options available now. But the longevity of these cars/trucks has me holding off on any plans to add an electric car to my stable.
