"No way! But the Ram wasn't built by Ford!!!! This is impossible! I was gonna buy a Ram after my lawyer forces Ford to buy my Ranger back, put the dealer out of business and send me a gold plated letter of apology for deliberately building a faulty vehicle!!!! This just can't be!!!"

Ahh gotcha. My Ram was on the higher end of capacity with 1700 lbs payload and 11,000 lbs towing. But like I said, I prefer the Ranger towing my boat.

Nice Ranger. I have very similar mods on my truck but used Fox and Wildpeaks with no tune. The larger tires and spacers were a nice improvement and I got the idea from other members. I got the Wildpeaks because I do a lot of skiing and they seem to work well in the wet. Way better than the stock Hankooks.

2022 Ford Ranger Lariat FX4 SuperCrew BAP

Picked her up on a trade in July 2022, after my 2020 RAM 1500 started having issues just out of warranty. Decided we really didn't need a half-ton, as I only have a 16ft ski boat to tow around. The dealership let us take the Ranger for the day to see how it handled towing and she did better than the RAM, so here we are!

I'm about 13,000 miles in, so it's time to start planning some much needed mods!

Elma Ford closed up a few months ago. I picked up my Ranger down in Aberdeen. Best experience I’ve ever had at a dealership.

I've been away for about 15 years and before that lived in Elma. I still have some family and friends around there. I see from your pic. That you live pretty close to the old Grange used to be, across from Lynch rd. Used to be old stomping grounds as a kid. lol! I'll be back in July for Bear Festival. Maybe I'll see you around.
