Here's confusing info about the spare versus daily rim.

This is maybe a spare but it shows two different rims?!? Does say it's a spare. 20.4 pounds

its interesting right? Most of the info I found said they were around 22lbs.
Really just trying to not add too much unsprung weight.

I prefer steel rims too. They served me well for my '72 Land Cruiser. They are beat to heck and wobbly but still going strong!

Of course, they're probably 3 times thicker than the Ranger rims and I think that weight isn't bad at all.

Tires can vary quite a bit in weight. I'm looking at Nokian Outpost nAT when I get more mileage on the OEM Bridgestones ...

keep us informed and I love (LOVE!) that aluminium bed you have going and great headache rack - that's really fantastic!

I was wondering about those Nokian outpost as well. Hard to find info on. Keep us posted on what you find out about them.

I have always loved the Cooper st maxx, they are heavy but so are a lot of the new tires, BFG, Falken, Nitto , Toyo they all seem to be in the 52-55lbs a tire range.

A couple guys I know started running the Good year wrangler ultra terrain AT, they are discount/america tire exclusive . They have a smaller size run but they do great in all conditions , 3peak rated, 3 ply sidewall. I am also looking at those.

Took little longer than I thought , here we go.
Just purchased a 2023 supercab fx4 (for the locker).
This truck will be my DD and work truck. I am a Ranger Manager so I drive a lot of Forest and HWY.
I have spent some time Australia and always loved the UTE's. I set up and older Tacoma little while back like a ute. This Ranger will built in that same style.

Here is the plan for the truck.

OME suspension heavy upfront and medium rears.
Arb bumper
10k winch
Custom flatbed
onboard air compressor
I love the classic look of steelies, so I am going to order the ford 16" silver steelies.
265/75/16 or 285/75/16 not sure which yet.
I am leaning towards the 265/75/16 just for better road manners. There are a few tires that are a true 32" in that size which I think would be a good fit for the truck.

We went to the shelter… The hurricane dropped a lot of trees, the more I investigate, the more I find . I’ve got 2 acres of woods so they can stay where they fell. The house is fine but it ripped the roof on my shed in half. All else is fine, no water problems except I still have no power .
