Hey guys,

So I'd measure myself but I haven't received my lift yet (the wait is killing me). Im looking at the following combo (with ReadyLift crashbars, Fox stage 2 tuned to 3" front/1.5" rear and Grimm UCAs):
-- Wheels --
17"x8.5"
6x5.5"
18mm offset
5.46" BS
106.25 CB

-- Tires --
Nitto Ridge Grapplers
LT305/70R17 E

I'm thinking I'll be good yeah? Or should I go down to a 295 instead of 305 (trying to get close to 34")

Thanks all,
Stephen

Tough call but it will look mighty if you pull it off.

Lift: good

Crash Bars: good for a lot of bigger tires

Offset: good for knuckle clearance but anything could happen with those wide tires being pushed towards the wheel wells.

Only one way to find out....

Hopefully, someone on here has done that - cruise the Showcase section - you might find the answer before someone chimes in.

Yeah I haven’t seen many close to 34s” on the showcase. And the ones I have seen have a similar set up as the one I’m shooting for so that gives me some confidence lol. I’m a little confused about the positive offset because if I understand correctly that will push the wheel close to the spindle but the backspacing essentially gives it a negative offset

FYI the Fox stage 2 kit does not provide any lift at the rear. It can accommodate up to 1.5 inches by another method.

Also, is your knuckle aluminum? Those UCAs only work on the Aluminum knuckles I believe and most 2020s and above have the cast iron.

Yes to the aluminum knuckle/spindle. And yeah I forgot to mention the block in the rear and maybe later add a leaf or some other method

Our stock offset is +55mm, as you get lower, you push the tires out. When you get to zero or to a negative offset, you’re pushing them out even further. Offset is the distance from center of wheel to hub interface - someone call me out if that’s not exactly right.

Zero offset means the hub interface is at the centre of the rim. Negative means it is closer to the inside lip.

As you lower offset, you increase backspacing. At the same time, you push your wheels toward the wheel well and crash bars - it’s a delicate balance.

Lines represent crash bars - shaded tires show pushed out position.
