Just found this thread. I'm deciding whether to drive down early tomorrow and meet up at the departure area for the trail run. My decision is whether to tell my wife what I'm thinking or ask for forgiveness later.

Plus side
Did my chores yesterday.
Too cold for a long bike ride.
Want to go off-roading with a group.
Minus side
3 hour drive from Huntington Beach

We will be at the trail head in about 30 min. Just about done packing up the ranger group campsite (4 trucks)

Just a few. They aren’t the best pics compared to what you probably can do but hope it suffices hehe. Definitely there will be more trips in the future, hope to meet you.

A few more from the very enjoyable day. One of the rangers got wet but I think it'll shrink in the sun.

We should try Bradshaw Trail or San Tiago peak. Both are a day trip.

I was (still am) a noob. Trail was great fun. a few pucker moments at Diablo Drop and the gate keeper to the drop. Stock XLT with tow package made it just fine.
