Running tally of VIN #, order date and build date by Ranger5G member (2019 MY)

@Geoff they sure are not, only in the computer, the factory builds according to what hey have the lines setup for that day. Not to mention that I have learned they factory has a whole slew of subassembly sections that preproduce things like the body, and chassis so there is no way to really figure out what is coming next...well unless you are one the plant supervisors that have access to that knowledge. Just glad I am not the puppet master trying to run an assembly plant!

Yep, my 12606 VIN is definitely not going to be the 12606 Ranger made. All we can really "go by" is the build date given by the dealer and then hope like hell it's not sitting in a lot surrounded by partly completely Rangers and unavailable to ship. The dealer does have access to any commodity issues tho so I think that's an important question to ask along with build and ship dates.

Hopefully, my truck is being built today as the Dealer and Blend date have indicated. And then hopefully, it gets shipped "quickly" and not stuck in the lot due to rail car shortages or being blocked in by partially completed trucks waiting for commodity issues.

Blend date 2/1, Ford Pass activated on 2/6 and released for shipping on 2/8. Friday will mark 1 week after being released for shipping and no movement.

It took @MI2TRAC 2 weeks and the Regional Ford Rep's intervention. I can wait a few more days before getting this issue escalated.

That's a wise move. Squawk too early and it just doesn't have the impact of waiting a week. And crying wolf too often is probably a bad tact. But damn, what is Ford doing....

My window sticker says convoy. Does this mean it will be shipped by truck? Are people with convey getting faster shipping with trucks? Promised date March 10.
