Just checked the tracker and all of a sudden it went from delivery date of 1/25 to 2/14. Wtf?!?!?

Ouch, that really sucks

Ordered mine 12/18, Scheduled date 03/11, Lariat Crew Cab 4x4, hope that the scheduled date might move up since overtime is being scheduled for February, fingers crossed

Some of the dates are all over the place but I am guessing that is because of the amount of orders that may have been received on certain business days and the time to process them if all of the requirements where meet. Also the delivery dates are going to vary a lot based on distance from the plant. I am in Eastern NC and the Rangers are delivered by rail to I believe Virginia then by truck from there up and down the east coast. Trucks wait until they have a full load if possible before they roll. I am glad I am not the one having to manage that logistics chain, what a headache.

Just moved into production. Seems like that is a little early based on the date I was given previously.

Interesting part is my Delivery date went from 3/10 to N/A.

Either way, it is cool to know sheet metal is being stamped.

Makes sense if your build week is 2/4. Do you see your window sticker?

There are many mentions of a "tracker".... how do I find that and what is needed to locate my order?

BTW, my order was placed 11/27 and my salesman has now suggested a build timeframe of mid-March and delivery in April. No serious dates and no VIN....

Got another update from my dealer just now:

Looks like it is on the train & it should be moving soon. New status now showing "In transit".

Hopefully its a bullet train

So 4 days to ship. Assuming it was completely ready for shipment on 1/28, maybe they waited until today to ship when they could batch CA orders together.

Well, I don't think it went through final assembly until 01/30/2019 as that's when ford pass started working. So 2 days?

First your order must be scheduled, as you can see no one who ordered in January has been scheduled yet. Once you are scheduled, most likely for sometime in April, you'll get your VIN. The blend date comes last, as that is only found on the window sticker, which won't be available until it's "in production".

Thank you rangerdanger. One more question, is the ROVP process still in place or was that just for 2018? should I be expecting something from my dealer to track my order or just wait for VIN# ?
