It can be approved through ROVP but still be dealer stock. Your salesman could have entered the order as a retail order and then got approval through the ROVP. Then, before the order gets submitted to Ford, someone else could have changed it to "Stock" thinking they were helping. This is what has happened to me. The Ranger retail ordering process is different than ordering in the past. Normally, dealer stock gets priority over retail orders so dealership personnel are assuming that if they order their customers orders as "stock", then it will get here faster. I received an email confirmation from my salesman of ROVP approval from Ford. My ordered got processed and I have a VIN and build week but can't track my truck through the VIN tracking website since it was ordered as "stock". As far as the $750 rebate goes, I have my ROVP approval so I will make sure they give me the rebate. It's on them to get it reimbursed by Ford. Have your salesman give you your ROVP tracking number. If he can't come up with it then he probably didn't do the ROVP process. Sorry for the long post!PS: Assuming it was entered thru ROVP (very doubtful), how soon would it show up in Vehicle Tracking?
