No problems at all, fit and finish like it was from the factory. Only took about 30min. to complete because I watched a video on installation process before I started and I was into the disassembly when FedEx arrived with the new kit.

I have already installed the Ford Performance Exhaust and this seemed to be a good compliment to the new exhaust. So after a little research this seemed a good choice plus it was available on Amazon Prime.!

Is there a increase in turbo/engine noise
Not that I've noticed but I haven't really stomped the gas pedal yet either. I didn't notice the "growl" at higher rpm's that was advertised...

How do you like the Ford exhaust? I just ordered the AWE system and am looking at the Mishimoto CAI. They have some impressive Dyno numbers. I have had a CAI On my last 4 Fords and there was a noticeable difference in performance.

Not sure I will be the best judge of performance gains my truck has less than 500 miles on it, still in the initial break-in period so I haven't gone WOT yet. Since I didn't drive the truck very long stock I don't have a good baseline to judge gains. I do have a 2002 Ford Ranger Edge with 3.0L engine and use to own a 1984 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe with the 2.3L Turbo engine but neither of those can be compared to the performance level of the 5th gen Ranger...

The Ford Performance Exhaust did add a change in tone to the exhaust but as I was just telling Brian I only have less than 500 miles on the truck so I haven't been putting the pedal to the metal. My understanding of a CAI is it will add torque but not necessarily HP. Now I know torque is what you "feel" in the seat but with my casual driving so far no noticeable difference. Look forward to anyone else with experience here to add their comments...
Thanks,
Marc

Complete waste of money, pretty funny to. You had a cold air intake to begin with.

Bigger waste of money appears to be in your level of education, or lack of.
