Where exactly is the oem exhaust resonator located in the system? Is it before or after the muffler?

At the end like Langwilliams stated. I removed mine (while adding a Flowmaster 40) and regret it because it sounds goofy.

I think it's part #16...black makes it sound better...

I think it's part #11. The entire assembly includes muffler & resonator as 1 piece. Mine is sitting on top of the refrigerator in my garage. I was tempted to cut it (resonator) off and keep it. It's "after" the muffler and axel bump,,, but "before" the 90⁰ bend.

In box, #9 & #10 are clamps, between those is a flex section of the exhaust pipe. these are "down wind" of the downpipe / catalytic converter. I like the catalytic converter is in the down pipe as mangey a-hole thieves cannot easily cut is out to steal .
