I dropped my plastic trans pan today. I'm letting it dribble before I install the PPE pan tomorrow.
The factory pan had a heat shield covering the right side and part of the front. I reckon it is to protect the plastic pan from CAT heat.
I'm considering pitching the shield into the recycling. I suppose it could help a tiny bit with heat rejection, but that heavy aluminum PPE pan probably won't know the difference.
Thoughts please.
