Hey Cole,
The fluid level difference between a stock ride height and a leveled one is very minor.

If it is showing high when it's hot on level ground, take a little out, or set it to full when you put the PPE pan on, don't be terrified about anything putting a deeper pan on!

My truck is stock except for Eibach shocks on the rear, and the truck was sitting on all 4 wheels on level concrete when I checked the fluid.

What was your ambient air temp or starting fluid temp when you measured with the cold start procedure?

How did you measure the fluid temp at 180F? You appear to be definitely high if your 180F reading is accurate.

I believe my ambient air temperature was 70°F when I tried the cold start and when I did the 180° test I think it was less than 80°F.

I don't know the fluid temp for the cold start, I am using OBD Fusion with the 2019 Ranger specific readout pack so I couldn't get it connected fast enough for a cold test.

Could the app be messing up my measurements?

For the 180°F measure I had been driving around like normal and after I parked it in my garage I put it in park then did a five count in all the gears (including park).

Air temps when I ran the test, was 75F. I checked initial fluid temp with Key One Engine Off. Fluid temp was 77.4F Your air temp was perfect which means the reading are highly accurate. My diagnostic tool pulled it direct from the Ford sensor. I am not familiar with the OBD Fusion. If it is pulling the fluid temp from the OBDII port your probably getting it from the same source. I was watching the fluid temps dynamically.

I can drive 40 miles in the rural countryside with a few stop lights and my fluid temps finally reach in the upper 170F's to low 180F range, so you sound in the ball park. Once you shift through the gears the first time, there is no need to do it again if the truck is running. You only need to do it once per start.

I think you are overfilled. It is easy to remove via the pump.

You really don't need to wait to check your fluid level accurately, simply move your truck to flat ground and start it up. Shift through the gears, then match your OBD Fusion temp to the temp in the dipstick chart. The fluid levels are all the same amount of fluid.

Below are the times it took my truck to reach each temperature at idle in park on a 75F day.
Your experience should be close.

If you need to pull a little out, the dipstick is designed to fit a 3/8" poly hose, cut the tip of the hose at an angle and you can push it down the dipstick to the pan and pump some out.

Some have used a electric pump, some have used a manual pump, I use the cheap harbor Freight hand pump, it works surprisingly well and the pump hose fits right over the 3/8" poly hose and seals without needing any clamps.

You should skip the pumping some out and install the deep pan👍

Here is the hose that the dipstick is designed to fit:
