The bad news is I also want to purchase one of those tranny pans and my Ranger doesn't even have 6k miles.

Drain from the bottom and fill from the top is the way to go and your product makes it possible!!!

So I couldn't stand it and installed mine just a day or so after it came in. Wasn't bad, maybe an hour or so including fighting with being parked to close to a post for the carport and the requiste going back into the shop for another tool I forgot.

Successful removal of factory stick from inner fender and steering locked to the left. 1 1/16" socket on 18" breaker bar and an 18" cheater pipe on that made for no struggle at all, just a single pull and it popped loose. I found that going in from the rear of the transmission made for the easiest access after that (vehicle had been sitting for at least 30 minutes, so not very hot). Had just enough room to get a wrench in there and snug down the fittings. The new stick dropped into place and bolted onto the bracket with virtually no issues; ended up with 3/4" of clearance with the A/C line and had my partner rev the engine to make sure there would still be adequate space in motion. Been reading just a bit above the 5 the last two times I checked the level, so in the ball park of correct fluid from the factory.

I have to say, hats off to Mike for devoting the time to making such a quality product! Totally worth the wait and price. A big thank you to Kimball for creating a comprehensive installation video (honestly great videos overall and was inspired by the bed light video you made).

Yes, the update is I'm going crazy, I have ordered hose from two different suppliers, one just shipped a order that was supposed to be here 7 weeks ago and the other supplier is 5 weeks late and all I get is crickets.

I think instead of me saying the same thing that I have been saying for months, which has been: "soon, in a few weeks, any day now" I think will try "that s#!t ain't never gonna show"

Now, I just got a quote from a third supplier, he doesn't have my spec hose, but he can order it

So, after all that rambling, I will say, I'm close?

I checked the level, so in the ball park of correct fluid from the factory.

When cold, the new stick should read about 1/16th of an inch higher fluid level than stock, when hot it is the same.

Ok....I read the instructions and watched the updated video. It seems something is missing from the video.

Around 8:30 into the video, he talks about nudging the A/C line to give more space.

The instructions say to loosen a bolt 1st then push the A/C line up and back...then tighten the bolt.

I didn't see him loosen the bolt in the video. Just nudging the A/C line. Should there be something about loosening the bolt 1st before nudging the A/C line in the video?

Guessing just moving/flexing the line gives enough clearance. I had a hell of a time loosening that bolt because of the hood shock/strut and it didn't seem to buy me too much. I would just try flexing the line for clearance right off the bat.

I don't have mine yet. Should get it next week. I tried to move the A/C line and it doesn't move at all. Just want to make sure I'm doing this right when I get the product.

Well looks like you should loosen the bolt, its down below the ac line in front of it to the left if your facing the truck. If you don't have the hood shock it will be easier to get too.

First get it installed, most have no clearance problem, then if it’s a little close, you can do either or both, the bolt will move it some, depends on where the guy on the assembly line tightened it at.
The A/C line is actually easy to adjust back as well, it just doesn’t seem like it.
It should be no problem at all?

If I'm going to do this myself, I need to make sure I don't break something else in the process.
