I am doing some As-Built compares - UK Ranger vs USA Version
I used Ebay UK to obtain a VIN#, as they sometimes list the VIn # for the truck in the listings
and the following trim specs
2021 Ford Ranger 2.0 Eco Blue 4WD w Automatic

So far I went through the BCM (726) and nothing stands out related to the Remote Start that is different.

I am curious since it was not mentioned, What Brand is this? are we dealing with one specific brand that does not work or is it an issue with all as I am curious if the actual Ford Perimeter Plus or the popular Start-X Brand will work without issues on the UK Version trucks.

Since I feel its related to the (Module) being able to communicate a data transmission to the Wake Circuit - it may just simply need a dealer to program (PATS) to get the module to allow a wake signal.

I am attaching the actual Ford Perimeter Plus install instructions, this gives a specific procedure to program the remote - This is related to what is missing, its programming the remote to the truck.
The issue is - you are using a aftermarket system and this procedure may not work or it may create issues with the factory FOBS, so read this carefully and note any programming differences between what you have and the factory module programming.

Plus: Do you have a - Remote Stat menu on the IPC screens?

Just happened across this post:
IDK if this will work or not (what's confusing is this RTM has more data lines where most Rangers only has one data line) - however the line the poster is changing we have

I will note that all Rangers are set to (1) and changing it to (2) may just be the work around for the UK Version (IDK) Untested - It may be worth a try.

I did some digging on the (EU) Rangers

Start-X relies on (Settings)
Lock - Start (2x's) or whatever setting the instruction s state

On the North America Version (Ranger) this WAKES the BCM (The Lock-Signal) via Can Bus
On the (EU) Version Ranger - The (Lock) signal does not FULLY WAKE the BCM and Can Bus stays in partial sleep.
Start-X - is Requesting Remote Start, but since the bus is asleep - the message is not sent.

When you open the door (The BCM - Fully Wakes and the Can Bus also wakes) via the Door Ajar - Signal - so with the BCM & Can Busses awake - Remote Start Works

Basically - This
The EU Ranger appears to be programmed differently than the (NA) Rangers.
The EU version does not allow the (Lock) signal to wake a BCM that is in Sleep Mode, yes, the door locks work etc - but it does not wake it fully and therefore will not wake the can bus either.

However, the (Unlock) signal will wake both the BCM and Can Buses, if the information I have is correct vs opening the door (which you have confirmed - does)

So - TRY This:
With the Truck Locked and it's sat for a while - modules go to sleep

Press: Unlock (wait about 2-seconds)
then press Lock & Start (2xs) - or whatever normal starting procedure the instructions state.

Basically, I want to see if - The Unlock (First) then procedure (for the remote start unit) will get you past the main issue, the BCM is not waking up and the (UNLOCK) signal just may be the key for the (EU) Version Rangers that have this specific issue (Remote Start-Not Working) unless the door is opened.
