Has anyone who levelled their ranger had any luck with moving the rear view mirror down a bit to get the position in relation to the road. It's such a minor annoyance but I noticed every single day. Any help would be great!

I can only add that it seems I have to adjust my mirror up a little every once in a while for no known reason. The mirror has a very stiff adjustment feel, so I can't understand how it can drift down over time. Sorry, probably no relation to your q.

Mine does the same thing and it's also very stiff to adjust. Maybe our windshields are settling...:p

Notice you all have later Rangers.....earlier 2019's probably came with "non sag" mirrors, but were deleted on later models....
I must have the prototype saggy stiff rear view mirror on my 2019.

Have not leveled mine so can't comment on the need to or trying to lower mine.

HaHa. I had the same impression. In the meantime, I believe that the height adjustment of the seat is decreasing from time to time… On the other hand, when I've been to the physiotherapist, I'm always so much bigger that I have to correct the mirror in the other direction… maybe u are shrinking from time to time, too?!

Do you have a tailgate damper installed? Looking for a connection with those who find adjusting the mirror difficult. ? ;)

The rearview mirror has very little vertical adjustment...I covered it with a dashcam mirror...

Same here. I think the seat settles a little, but more than that I find my mirror is adjusted too low first thing in the morning on a road rip, but higher at the end of the day. I attribute this to better posture early on and more slouching after a few hours of driving

My '22 XL (with rear damper and the rear damper mod's mod) is incredibly stiff. It's not an auto mirror like you Nancy boys, it has the little lever thingie to move it between day and night modes (which isn't easy to flip with my damper-atrophied arms).

But it does feel like I'm about to rip it off the windshield anytime I actually try to adjust the mirror.

Did the OP actually mean moving the mirror down, as in lower on the windshield?

Actually remove the mirror and move it down to reduce the angle to see out of our poorly designed bed rake issue?

Of course, these mirrors are connected to all kinds of crap, so I doubt the could be moved like old school ones ...
