I've never had a vehicle that didn't get some sort of additional accessories or modifications. And I'm usually doing the same for my wife's, and now kid's, vehicles.

I've played this game long enough that I usually don't waste money on little stuff. While a different colored tow hook is appealing, I can't see myself spending that much for them. Painting them myself would be an option to consider and I might do that when I have the front end apart here soon. But I'd rather save that $100 to go towards something more useful to me.

Also, I find it helps to not ever think about cost of modifications on vehicles.

OK, in all my adult years, after making some teenage and young adult bad decisions, I thought I was pretty logical with my spending habits. Well since joining this darn forum, I have bought all sorts of things for this new Ranger that I have not bought for other trucks!

Soooo, I think I have just lost it. I just ordered and spent almost $100.00 on a set of red replacement tow hooks when the black tow hooks that came with my Ranger are still just like new. So, I spent $100.00 because I like the color red rather than black?
