As the title implies this may be a very dumb question. But…here goes. Researching the Baja kits Prerunner kit- their site says, this kit widens the stance by 6” (3 on each side). So the front gets wider by 6”…. But what about the rear? Do people just run that at the same width? Is there something to increase the rear width also? I’m not finding anything about what needs to be done with the back end to match the width. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

My understanding of the kit is they actually run a spacer for the rear wheels. (Or if you want the 73 Camaro look don’t use the spacers wide front track only.)
In order to truly get a 6” wider rear, will be to look into rear end swapping the rangers.
Personally I’d say get some -38 offset wheels for the back.. running a staggered front and rear wheel offset.. front wheels go as close to zero of positive offset as possible.. and in the rears run a -38 mm offset..
it won’t be perfectly matched but you’ll be able to get it kinda close

Thank you. I appreciate the insight, and options.

Dr Doug, I have the kit. I run a 2inch spacer in the rear, my wheels have a 35+ offset so it helps over stock offset wheels. Like OGMix said you can run a really low offset and that will work too. I feel most who have the kit are running spacers in the rear.
