Hi,

Actually, yes, I have taken mine out in the snow. We got about 6" back in January and it handled well with the stock tires/suspension. The rear-end is not all over the place like an F-Series that isn't a dually. Despite my despise of the vehicle, I can't say its snow debut was awful. My buddy has a Wrangler Unlimited and that has an ever-present sense of "you're about to flip over." Not in the Ranger.

We still got plenty of snow here and still XCing but its not exciting enough to catch a pic with the truck in it. Does this count? Nothing like some cool white frozen water to have fun in!

Also, for reference I enjoy checking in on this site every once in awhile. So much data!

Here's the current snowpack (est) across the contiguous US, as of this writing. Besides the mountains, looks like only Maine and the northern Great Lakes have any left.

X years ago, we looked at NOAA's snow coverage map before we headed out for a hike in the Porkies state park which is about 80 miles away from us. It showed near zero snow on our planed route so we didn't bring our snow shoes along. It was a great hike until we got behind the mountain and found the snow was still 2ft deep. Ya, we needed to have snowshoes along. This pic was taken there then but on the lake shore. We are standing over 20ft above the water.

More snow tonight? ?

Here's our weekly forecast but it's not bad because the nights are still cool and the days are very dry so it's really perfect weather here.:sun::tumbleweed:

We got 20-25cm (8-10 inch) of fresh snow again.. I was too lazy to cart it away from the driveway so I just leveled it with the ranger tires. Now it's 2-5cm (1-2 inch) of packed snow.

It will melt anyway.

If it doesn't we've got bigger problems than shoveling snow.
