Perfect! Exact same wheels I plan on running, just waiting till some more free cash-flow. I like the tire/size choice. I see your in NV so asking about the grip/braking in the rain with those tires would be silly. Zero experience with Wild Peaks.

Looks Great!

Just picked up my truck from the service department at Jim Vreeland Ford - had them put on the Fox Kit. I had bought RC Spacers, but took a look at them and decided if I am going to do it - might as well do it.

Certainly could have save a lot of money and did it myself - not a tough job at all - but something to be said for just dropping it off and picking it up done.

They make a huge difference in the ride, my only complaint is that I didn't do it sooner!

First time truck owner here. How do we best soften up the ride in our Ranger, particularly for un-maintained dirt road applications? We took it up into the mountains today, and it bounced pretty badly over washboards, to the point where it started to rotate a couple times. I'd really like to smooth out the ride and calm down the handling over rough stuff. We weren't even going very quickly.

Is this a tire-pressure thing? We were at 40 psi for all four. How low can we safely run the Bridgestone Duelers?

Going further, do different springs help? Or different shocks? Or both?

We have a bone-stock XLT, and will mostly be using this for outdoor adventures and hauling big objects. No seriously heavy loads anticipated, and no hardcore off-roading planned. I'd like to stay as close to the stock ride height as possible, but level.

Thanks in advance for the advice.
My stock 2019 Lariat FX4 bounced all over the place, and changing the tire pressures up or down as some members recommended only changed things marginally. As soon as the Fox-Ford Performance Two-inch Leveling Kit came out, I had it put on, and it solved the problem to my satisfaction, in fact, I love the ride now. I run my tires at 35 psi, that is, five pounds higher than recommended, because it improves mileage (and I like to feel the road), but no more bouncing or rough handling! In my case, I was not really interested in leveling or lifting, just in getting a more controlled ride, which is why I chose the two-inch level as opposed to the higher levels and lifts offered by other companies, but once it was done, I find that I enjoy being up higher and having more clearance as well, sort of a fringe benefit, so to speak. Another benefit is, with this system, Ford honors all warranties, which could be problematic with other brands....

Is that the same kit available from stage 3? Fox 2” leveling coil overs for the front end?

Members debate how much "Ford Performance" added to the Ford/Fox Two-Inch Leveling Kit, and I think that the consensus is that not much changed besides the addition of Ford branding and warranties. However, keep in mind that the "front end" leveling coil overs for the front end that you mention and that Stage 3 advertises are only for the front end, whereas the Ford-branded Fox kit that I put on includes Ford/Fox shocks for the rear as well. Reviewers seem pleased with the front-end kit alone, but if you don't mind spending the extra money, I would recommend getting the full four....

I just ordered the RC 2.5" leveling kit. I'm not concerned with changing tires or anything like that, but do hope it improves the ride just a little along with the aesthetics. Wasn't going to, but after seeing all the post here I decided to jump on it. Especially since it will be one of the cheapest add-on. LOL

That's not entirely correct. While we do list the coilovers alone, we also have our Fox 2.0 Stage 1 Package that comes with both front and rear. That's the system we put on our 2019 Ranger Project.

I am aware of that distinction and of the wider array of options that you offer. I was replying (entirely correctly) to the question of a particular member who asked specifically about the two-inch front leveling kit advertised on your site.

Hey, I didn't mean any offense! I'm aware you're responding to a specific person, who was asking about the 2.0 fronts on their own.

However, the average forum-goer doesn't go back and read the entire thread, and this statement...

...in a vacuum makes it look like we don't offer an equivalent package to the Ford Fox 2.0s.

I'll be putting that Fox kit on my 2wd. I saw on your site that the lift is 2" for a 4wd and 2.5" for a 2wd. Any approximation on how much to lower the front spring adjuster to get an equivalent 2" lift on a 2wd?

Thanks for any help.

According to Fox, the ride height adjustment is roughly a 2:1 ride height-to-collar thread ratio. So to get down .5", you'd drop the collar by .25".

That being said, you may want to see where you're at in regards to ride height when you first get the coilovers. In our experience, Fox is not super-consistent with their out-of-the-box ride heights. The 2.5s we put on our 2014 Hunting Truck were set at essentially 0" of ride height, and we had to raise them up quite a bit, considering we had both an add-a-leaf kit and larger block on that truck to handle the DECKED System and quad.

I know it's annoying to essentially do an install twice, but better safe than sorry.

I got a quote from the dealership I bought my truck from to see exactly which level kits they endorsed/installed. They offered both Ready Lift and Tuff Country. I decided on the Ready Lift based on all the research I could find. Not surprising, the dealership was over double the price of a local off-road specialist.

I considered installing the Ready Lift myself, but after reading the install instructions, as well as some of those who have done it, I decided it was above my pay scale!

So I had the Ready Lift 3” Level installed at the shop where I bought my tires. The whole deal included 4-BFG LT KO2 275/70R17, level kit install and alignment. The shop specializes in lifts/levels of all sorts. They have done many Ready Lift installs, but this was their first level on a 2019 Ranger. The tech said it was “more involved than he first thought”. They had the truck for 7 hours, and I had to wait ½ hour after closing to pick it up…. So I think it was pretty tough and I’m glad I didn’t try to install!
(BTW, no trimming or modifications were required on the level/tire install and I have had no rubbing issues either)

The 3” Ready Lift Level Kit puts the truck virtually level (unloaded). I don’t plan on towing much if anything (I use the tow receiver for my KUAT bike rack). I measured from the garage floor to the top of the wheel well trim (straight thru the center of wheel) and the fronts are 38-1/4” dead-on and the rears measure 38-3/4”.

My Wife and I both agree the leveled ride is better than the stock ride. Because the tires were swapped as well, it is not possible/fair to credit only the level for the ride improvement. The ride is great and we love how the truck sits!

how is the fitment on those 275s? any rubbing?
