Just wondering if anyone here got a 6gen and how do you like it? Im looking to upgrade my 21. Im getting the droning noise again on mine. Last time they replaced the differential carrier and half shaft but it took 2 months. Not the main reason I'm upgrading. Im upgrading because my wife got her new mustang and it's my turn now.

Also looking into raptors but not sure if I'll go with that route.

I love this truck! This is what the ranger should have been from the start. Its longer and wider. You can lay a 4x8 flat in the bed. I tow and do lots of work with mine. The little truck is perfect. I do not have a 2.7l. It is only offered on the 4x4s i do not want or need one. I do work and it just takes up cargo weight. 1 have 1700lbs of cargo on the ranger. Need it when towing. The power everything is still just as good as the 5g, more drive modes. Eco does not do s#$%. Just bogs the engine down. I drive with 91 octane or better. Since i tow. Screen is nice interior has more room, by a little, it is noticeable. So, that is my experience. Big improvement over the 5g.
Crowd here is just more cheerful than the 6g sight. Bought my first ranger in 2020. This is my third. Next truck is an f250

Think I saw an F150 drive by me with that color, almost like a lighter cement grey.

They have one here. For lariat my current option is 2.7 avalanche. 2 3 carbon gray. Or 2.7 black at different dealer. Black has best config but dealer doesn't have good reputation. Possibly a white raptor but it's still marked as in transit.

If you can get a RR at MSRP, I would argue it is the best option just on resell value alone. There is just so much good with that truck.

I'm not looking to upgrade but going from the Tremor to a normal 6g Ranger would feel like a suspension downgrade (multi-leaf rear and shocks, plus my mods) that I think the Raptor would be the only one I think is perfect outside of the box (well, front level, wheels and 34-35" tires would be all I do to it).

I was hoping to have a shot at that white raptor but it's gone. Probably someone's special order.

I bought a raptor in avalanche. I test drove a Lariat FX4 2.7. Power was fine but man the raptor suspension is killer. I could have gotten a rebate and ford A plan on the Lariat but I bit the bullet an went all out. Sticker was only 6K more but losing the rebate and A plan cost me another 6K. I only regret it one day a month.

If you like your Tremor you will love a RR. The suspension and drivetrain are sublime. The interior is also very nice once you get used to the huge touch screen.Other than a FP tune no need to improve except maybe bigger brakes. There is also a possibility of a g6 Tremor releasing later this year.

Getting used to the screen isn't the problem for me. The problem is certain features are controlled on the screen I'd like a dedicated button for. The seat heaters are on the screen and the drivers side heater opens to control the the heated steering wheel. PIA. I would like to be able to direct the air to vent, defrost or floor or a combo without the screen too.

Also the heated steering wheel is weak compared to the escape I drive for work.

I have been curious what a 6g Tremor might look like, Australia has had it maybe 2 years now? I am worried they will not bring it to the USA at this point. There is plenty of room to build something in between the FX4 and Raptor. Only thing I don't like about the Raptor interior is the orange/red color. Wish they just went all red. Hoping there is a blacked out option in the future.

Either way, as long as my 5g Ranger stays reliable, I don't plan on upgrading. Just hope the engine they put in at 50k miles holds up and the trans stays good. Thank goodness for extended, last summer the AC died, that alone got me my money back and then some over the cost of the extended.
