Hello, a few months ago I posted for help with the left drl . Wire was cut. I got a lot of helpful replies. I am now back to fixing this again. My problem is (due to lack of information Ford cares to show) I have 2 different diagrams for C228oc bcm harness plugin. One diagram is from a 2020 Ranger and another is from what I believe to be 2022 but no date is shown in pic. Any thoughts on which diagram is correct? I would think that between 2020 and 2022 nothing would change but who knows ?
Thank you in advance for any help on this

It may be that one is for a Lariat and the other is for XLT/XL/STX. Only a guess. I would go to a Ford dealer and check with the parts people. They would be up to date with any revisions. Have your VIN handy in case there was a mid-year change.

It's the 2nd pic by all my resources C2280C is on the top row, IDK where you got the first pic but what I have, 2 separate manual sources has it labeled as the 2nd pic.

Now to confirm, if you look at the connector diagram (pinout) from your original post. (I reposted the link above) look at the connector plug and then look at the pic of the BCM (connector) location, they match with paying attention to the detail of the locator tabs.
A double check would be to look at pin 40 and confirm it is a Gray Wire / Blue Stripe
also, if you have access to the wire end (that is cut) feeding the BCM, with the C2280C connector disconnected, probe Pin 40 and the cut end of the wire, you should have continuity.
I recommend doing that anyway before you cut and splice anything, that wire is buried into the harness, and this would be a way to confirm you are on the correct damaged wire.

Mainly due to the fact that I do not know if you confirmed exactly what wire was cut / damaged.

Thanks for reply. Yes it’s the left drl, confirmed at dealer. The wire was cut when work was being done by not so good (and now unable to locate installer for power line to battery). Did not realize this happened till a few months later. Dealer wanted $1800 to repair. I ran wire thru firewall and just have to re connect bypassing cut.
