So I've searched and searched and not coming up with any luck on how to change the factory white daytime running lights to amber. Anyone have any suggestions? I've even tried figuring out a way to make the turns into parking lights. I really think it would make the truck look sweet.

You'll have to open the lights, unsolder the white LEDs and replace with amber LEDs

Somebody here did a write up on making the turn signal into a running light (not DRL though). The bulb is a dual element, and so is the socket. But there are only two wires going to the socket. I believe they used new 3-wire/dual element socket and ran the extra wire to the light on the fender.

I'll look a little deeper. Thanks.
