?in a rear end collision, the damper weakens the structural integrity of the truck. However, in the frontal collisions, the cab structure did a good job keeping its integrity.
It never gets old! ?
?A true classic!It never gets old! ??
Well Said !I will say the amount of crash testing does pay off. We've (unfortunately) seen several members who've crashed their Rangers some looking horrific and have walked away. While everyone (myself included) likes to complain about the prices of vehicles we have to take into account the amount of vehicles they crash test and destroy to keep up safe. There's really no price you can put on safety.
It is pretty shocking seeing these crash tests. In slow motion you can see all the little things going on and how one thing impacts another in a crash. Amazing technology compared to what we grew up with. That's wild how the front wheel got damaged by the wheel well.
I bet that is the crash bar. That's wild how the front wheel got damaged by the wheel well.
