Cool. Obviously they need to work on that side badge, it fell right off.
On this one the grill popped right off too... go to 40 second mark.

Where's the video with the lifted truck sans crash bars. :)

That partial head on crash shows the left front wheel being contained in front of the rear crash bar.

Where's the video with the lifted truck sans crash bars. :)

That partial head on crash shows the left front wheel being contained in front of the rear crash bar.
here's a crash test... on the passenger side.

The best way to view this is to set the video playback speed to 0.25 using the tool icon in the bottom right of the You Tube screen. Then go to:
0:08. The tire hits the barricade, it goes flat and it drives the wheel into the wheel / foot well.​
0:26. You see the wheel near the cab in an overhead view​

Interesting that it would have achieved a "top safety award" if not for the headlights. I wonder what is is about the headlights that's sub-par, and if there is anything than can be done to improve that shortfall?

Would be interesting to see that same crash with and without the crash bars, it may change some peoples mind about removing them

If you dig into their ratings it seems their biggest bitch about lights was beam width, high and low, halogen or led.
