Different topic, but that was the best Mecum auction I've ever seen. And I watch them pretty religiously.

I think the demand is there but the SUPPLY is non existent. If they MADE more Rangers, they would SELL more Rangers. Do any of your local dealers have ANY Rangers on their lots?

My thought is that these sales dropping off a cliff are merely the fact that they don't have many Rangers to actually sell. It seems pretty consistent that most people can't find one on any Dealers lot. When they first were being made, the larger dealers around here had 10-15 on their lots and the smaller dealers had 3-5. Now, none of them have ANY Rangers at all - NONE. Lots of F-150s, but no Rangers.

My dealer had my ranger and a used black Lariat on the lot. The day I signed, they convoyed a black XLT from their other location to replace the one I bought. The other dealer nearby also seemed to have no more than one ranger on the lot at a time.

I considered a '21 STX from them over a year ago until I saw it was over $38k. At the time, they had almost a dozen new and used.

Things change. When I bought my '21 the dealer in Las Vegas had more new Rangers on their lot than the combined total of Arizona Ford dealers. Yes, I checked them all. Wanted to avoid going to Vegas and the out of state purchase hassles.
Today they have 0 new, 1 4g, and 3 5g used. And all are RWD.
