Strange. I never understood lowered trucks. They must handle like complete dog shit despite going for the sports car look.

I feel like someone spent a lot of money trying to be "different" with this creation.

My first reaction was unfavorable, but that's really just based on the color, the excessive drop and silly wheel arches.
Second thoughts are much more favorable. In this case, the renderings easily add the Challenger nose to the Ram but in real life, the proportions and dimensions probably would not work. Maybe use the old Dakota?
Most full size (and not a few smaller) pickups seem to suffer from sever beatings with an ugly stick in front and I think all are much taller than they need to be.
The general concept of a lower truck with a more svelte body is appealing and the artist did a pretty fair job of visualizing that.

To me, clearance is the whole point of having a truck, but these things seem to be taking it in the opposite direction, that is, down. Different, yeah, but I would not want to drive one. To each his own....

ditto on that.
If you want a muscle car or sports car - buy one. Why attempt to make one out of a truck? IT will always be too light in the rear to match the real thing. And will always handle worse.

Weight distribution is the topic.. not keeping stuff dry. But since you mentioned it... have you heard of a hard tonneau cover?
Ranger has a lightweight 4 cylinder motor, and a Supercrew has front and rear doors and seats just like a car does... but is taller and heavier than a car body.
Therefore the front / rear weight distribution for a SuperCrew Ranger is pretty good in comparison to a car.
