Installing my Ford factory TBC and tucked behind the 3rd brake light is this T-tapped module which appears to be something that pulses the 3rd brake light. Any idea if that's going to impact my TBC at all or if that also might be what's giving a code in my BCM module?

Did you buy the truck used? Looks like something someone else did, not factory. Could very well be why your BCM is throwing a code.

Definitely dealer BS. My dealer tried to charge me $399 for the same thing. Just look up "Pulse Safety." I told them they could remove it or charge me $0. They charged me zero and I removed it when I got home.

Pulse advertises to dealers that their product costs like $15, can be installed in no time, and that dealers can charge $$$$ for it. Total scam.

Thanks for the heads up. I did remove it and taped up all the connections. Will clear the codes and see if that prevents that from coming back too. In other news, the TBC is in (save for mounting the button/adjustment knob).
