Was the module (flat towing?) installed recently? Possibly it is interfering with the CCM radar view of the road. You may have to move it farther away from the CCM.
No. I havent added anything to the front except the breakaway switch. It towed fine since July. Ill see if I can mount it farther back. There has always been one there but this one came with the brake system.
And this is the first time i e every gone into the settings. Never modified anything, no tune. All factory.

One more thought tonight. This error ca.e up after being in " Neutral Tow Enabled " mode. That is a setting that allows it to be flat towed.

SUCCESS!! Did the auto calibrate thing today, drove a few miles and it reset. All codes clear. Adaptive cruuse control is up and pre collision assist is functioning.
Rangerbill and Airline Tech, if ever you are in north Louisiana, holler out. The steaks are on me! You've been exemplary in patience and admirable in your willingness to share your wisdom. You two are the heart and soul that makes these types of groups so valuable. Thank you. One fire put out means I can move on the the next one.

Im sending this reader back. Apparently it is inferior amd was part of why it took so long. It frequently lost connection with laptop. Today, windows could not even detect it. Dreaded "no adapter was found" error. A little research shows its not uncommon with these cheapy ones. Ill look back and see what you guys recommended and wise up a bit. Next one will be Bluetooth so I dont have to deal with a 17" laptop in the truck.

Grab the whole thing and tilt it. You’ll hear a click. Most likely, it’s tilted too far down. But try different directions with it. The hex screws just torque the angle bracket bolt.
Turns out that on this 2021 ranger lariat the next head bolt actually tilts the vertical angle of the module. Clockwise goes up and counter goes down. Who knew.

Well well well. One way or another, it was the angle after all.

It actually lost - Horizontal Calibration not Vertical which required the scan tool - Calibration to get it to reset - It also had a IPMA (Com) code for blocked - so it was a combination of both the CCM and IPMA.
Once the codes were reset it left the CCM that needed the software calibration for Horizontal
As I stated they interact with each other

As he did not pull code: B1432-78 - Vertical Alignment - It was within calibration limits (Vertically)
