The trail wasn't that bad actually. Narrow and steep but the truck went up without any hesitations. What a great view! How was the trail going up there?

This looks awesome. I will have to try it out!Made the absolute trek from SoCal to Bishop to tackle the Coyote Creek Trail and camp overnight up in the mountains. Beautiful location and high elevation but I thought the trail was a bit harder than it being rated “moderate”!
Heard from some others that a group of 10 Jeeps had gone on further along the trail. Only to have one of the blokes rip his axle out!
Definitely mate and I’ll look out for photos for when you go!This looks awesome. I will have to try it out!
We were up there last year during the week of July 4th. I didn't have my Ranger yet but we rented a side x side for the day and went on most of those trails. There were still a lot of closures due to the late spring snow storms so we couldn't do the whole Alpine Loop trail. We're looking forward to going back and doing it with the Ranger.Friday. Animas Forks lunch stop after Cinnamon Pass. After lunch California Gulch and Pass, Hurricane Pass and wandered down through Corkscrew Gulch.
