I believe Swingcase makes it for Ford. Ford logo vs Swingcase logo.
Thank you. How hard is it to remove once installed if you wanted to say fill the bed with firewood.

Not difficult at all. Just unlock it and lift it up off its pegs.
The difficult part is if you have a bedliner, you need to remove some of it around the bolts. I suggest using a dremmel tool to do that, but wear a good mask. The fumes from the bedliner are toxic.

That's good to know, thanks.

I don't know about y'all, but I don't want any step rail on my truck. For those of you that may have a storage box or the pivot box(like I have), I found a decent foldable step stool that fits in my pivot box. I only use it when I need it for some passengers to get in the truck.
Found it on Amazon:

Got the 9 inch model.

I have about 30 of those stools in my house. When your wife is 5'2''...

Retired, work is a four letter word.
I have and use two of these folding plastic step stools in the RV, one 3 step for cleaning the wondows and a single step for getting to things on the overhead bunk (which is used for extra storage on long trips) or in the back of an upper cabinet. Have had them for 3 years and they work fine, load rated at 250 lbs, and I am a trim 180 :) They feel real sturdy, but are made in the good old USA.

I keep this in the Truck to use as a step up for short passengers and when I need to get into the bed. It is small, sturdy, thick and easy to store (limited space in the SCab). Lots of use with no sign of deterioration :)
