If it’s the 4” system you’re referring to, then yes. It’s based off SYNC 3. For example, the voice rec implementation is identical for all practical purposes. If you had two side by side the same commands would work in each, etc.

Nothing states Sync3 until you get into XLT or Lariet. Ford makes a point to List Sync for XL and Sync3 for higher trims.

No clue what the difference is. just saying.

Leave 2 plugged in all the time. Zero issues.

Right. I think they market it as "SYNC", but it's still just an updated version of the 4" system that's based off of SYNC 3.

Also, what was the exact error message you saw?

Tried three flash drives, Kingston and ADATA. did not work. The Lexar worked like a champ. Took a while to find my play lists.
