Maybe you can answer my question...is the Ford logo a sticker than I can take off?

Dealer I bought my truck from wants 229 for the swing box, next closest dealer wants 200 no tax I think I will get one. Is it really true that Ford pass points expire after 1 year?

I called my dealer a week ago when I saw this posted and he said they could fall off after 1 year but to call them and they can add them back. I don't know how much stock I take in that but you could try calling yours and see what they say about it. I'm still trying to figure out what to spend the rest of mine on. I bought the tailgate damper and want the Pivot Tool Box it won't work with my bed extender.

Question...I have a Ford OEM box coming for driver's side...like to buy Amazon's passenger side but it has a different logo...are they identical except for the logo? Are the logos sticker than can be peeled off? Thanks...

Amazon swing box is $199. Ford OEM box is $229. You get 5% back in Ford points so that’s about $11 (as long as you use them on something), so price comparison is more like $199 for Amazon generic, vs $218 for Ford OEM, so about $19 difference. If I was buying two maybe I’d save the $38 bucks and go with Amazon. Since I got a Ford OEM driver side box for $30 plus my 42k FordPass points, it’s worth the additional $19 to me to get the same Ford OEM for the passenger side if/ when I decide to and have them match.

Anyone installed these with the drop in bed liner? Are you able to just drill holes where you attach or do you have to cut out the liner.

Does anyone know what the 4 notches on the exterior of the boxes provide? Are there slide mounts or something i am missing? Thank you in advance!

Drop in a 1"x8" stick measured to the width, as a divider, to segregate your gear.

I have the same box only on the right side. It also has the notches but I don't know why.

Yes the box has a lock.

I found the pivot swing box on Amazon and posted a question asking what the four slots at the bottom are for. Got a reply from “Quikparts” that they’re for certain ratchet straps. See what else I can find out.
