Parked on an angle from high on the driver side to lower on the passenger side. Started the truck remotely but when I inserted the key to drive the truck died. Multiple warnings on the dash included check parking assist and several others. Went through this process four different times then let the truck sit for about 3 minutes, truck then started up normally and I drove away. This happened once before. The street my son lives on has a very high crown and the road slopes as I said. Any idea what this issue might be.

Were you low on gas? If low fuel level and parked on a sharp angle, the fuel pump might not have been able to pump any fuel. If that was not the issue, scan for DTC codes.

Half a tank but this happened once before in the same spot I really didn't think about it to tell you the truth.

Isn’t the fuel pump located on the passenger side of the tank? With half a tank, I wouldn’t think low fuel level would be the culprit. Maybe if the truck was leaning the other way. I would definitely scan for codes and see if anything comes up.

The fuel pump is centered in the tank.

I park on some steep angles when out hiking, typically driver side high as you did (certainly easier to get in and out!). Never had any issue with starting but I don't use the remote so maybe somehow that connection is involved?

When you say no start, would it crank but not start, or no crank?

Then it wasn't a fuel issue. You should scan for DTC codes using Forscan. The codes may still be in memory.
Indeed as I stated this is the second occurrence parked in the same spot across from my son's house and it has never happened before those occasions or since

The codes may still be in memory. I would scan and see if there is anything stored in memory.

Nothing no crank
I had a thought, since it doesn't crank.
If it happens again, try placing the transmission in neutral and see if it cranks. The transmission range sensor may not be detecting the park position if the weight of the transmission shifts its position when the truck is severely tilted. It might work in neutral. If this is the issue, the shift lever cable may need adjusting.

The only thing I can think of - is the Range Sensor (not sensing -Park) during the transition from remote start.
You have stated road crown.
How much ? (-) From level \ and is this also a hill ?

The (RCM) incorporates the angle sensors for the ABS system, if you have the (Off Road -Gages) via Forscan what angle does it read?

With this only occurring in this certain spot - and you say you are getting other faults, we need to determine if those faults are due to engine shutting off or another issue.

Does it do it all the time in this spot?
Does it do it without remote starting (first)?
