I have found on small chip on the driver's side passenger door up high and two chips on the driver's side front fender up high. These are very small, smaller then a BB. Just highway driving so far, no off roading. Tough to get a good picture because of the size and reflection. Anyone else getting these? I had my 2013 F-150 for 6 years and never got any of these chips. Paint seems very thin on these trucks.

I've had issues with chips on the hood so far. Also no off-roading...all highway and city streets. Just purchased some touch-up paint on Amazon (LINK) and I'm looking into options for protecting the paint since it's so fragile. I'm open to suggestions!

I have had issues with paint chipping on my hood as well. I do agree that the paint on these trucks seems thin and not very durable. The end of the day, it’s a truck and it’s going to happen.

You could do a clear bra on the front end and hood for protection. There's a recent thread here and I'm sure if you do a search there's probably more.

I agree it's a truck and it should get truck durable paint. Like I mention above my 2013 F-150's paint was much better. Never had any of these chips showing up.

I got chips all over the bumper and some on the hood. Paint isn't great on this truck. Very disappointed.

I would understand chips in the bumper but I am getting them where rocks don't go.

I have some down the side of it. I thought they were door dings but I think its just little rocks smacking the side. I just bought some Rockbloks for it. Hopefully that will help.

it was -21 Celsius when this happened. I didn’t have a chance to put my bushwaker rocker guards on or ceramic coating. It does have factory mud flaps. If it had running boards it wouldn’t have any chips.

Honestly I feel like everyday I come home from school (since it's all highway travel) I'm finding more chips. The paint on this truck seems so thin and fragile. I also had the truck paint protection applied from the dealer. It's ridiculous if you ask me. My 2006 Ranger right before my trade in had half as may chips at the 2019 that I've only owned since March.
