Turns out it was a false alarm - that is the Platinum Tri-Coat White. :(

I don't think there is too much of a difference, the Platinum White is just more metallic and shiny than plain old Oxford White.

Can you ask @mrlevine if he has any photos of the elusive Magnetic with Sport Package Ranger?

I’m that guy who ordered Oxford White. I always get white vehicles after my EMT friend told me it’s safer to have a white vehicle because it’s more visible (I live in a snow free zone). I was told by my body shop folks that pearl is more expensive and harder to touch up or repaint. Lastly, dust ain’t as easy to see on white paint. An Oxford White 4X2 Lariat is heading to my driveway sometime after my 2/4/19 build date.

Pearl is 1/3 more expensive to paint than regular white and is impossible to touch up properly to "disappear" into the rest of the paint.
I just had a customer's 2010 Navigator total out because of the added expense to repaint the White Tricoat. Any non-tricoat color and it would have been under the threshold.

Had to drop the sport appearance package for the clean look I wanted.

The white looks good with the color matched bumpers. If they would give you the option to remove the chrome grill and chrome fender vents, I would nix the sports package as well.

Congratulations!

Is this the same one you test drove a few days ago?
