I have had this same issue. Super annoying. I have an Explorer and Focus also with capless design but only my Ranger has issues. It won’t stay latched down but when I force it down I can get it to stay but there have been times that I haven’t been able to get it out. Then I have to yank hard to...
I do have the Curt receiver but I have a high quality weight distribution hitch. With weight distribution the receiver is rated up to 8,000 lbs. (limited to 7,500 max by the truck’s capabilities, of course). I was not aware there was much difference in the brake controllers besides aesthetics...
Thanks for responding. I think that the GVWR includes full tanks. The tow guide I looked at showed 55 sq ft. frontal area as the max... I'm not sure what the trailer's is but it is rounded on the front which should help some. I have seen some others with similar sized trailers posted on here so...
The wife is concerned that this travel trailer, although within the Ranger's stated towing capacity, will put too much stress on the truck. I believe that it's not an irrational concern but that the Ranger is more than capable of handling it. What say you? Anyone have experience towing something...
Yesterday, on a paved road with a moderate decline, I attempted using trail control for the first time. Any time it engaged (after releasing the brake) it made a strange, grinding sound that seemed to come from the front driver's side wheel area. Has anyone else noticed a sound like this? Any...
Do we have any audiophiles here with the B&O system in their Ranger? If so, would you be so kind as to share the audio settings you use (treble, mid, bass, fade, surround/stereo, etc)? I have mine set at default and it doesn't seem quite right but I'm really not sure what settings would help it...

I got this and absolutely love it. The start stop function was really starting to get on my nerves after driving the truck a couple of weeks. After installing this, I never have to worry about it. I like the fact that it doesn't...
Mine took 2 weeks. You can generate a PIN immediately after joining. Your dealership might accept a print out showing your membership ID and the PIN you generate. I'm pretty sure if you say you'll only buy for X-Plan price, you'll get it one way or the other.
The specific verbiage is :
"For membership-based partner companies, you must provide a membership card that indicates a 60-day minimum membership."
That means you have to sign up for a membership that is a minimum of 60 days, not that you have to be a member for a minimum of 60 days.
Join the Mustang Club of America for $25 and you can get X plan as soon as you get your card with your PIN you can use it (that's what I did). There is a misconception here that you have to have been a member for 6 months to use the PIN. You just have to sign up for a membership that lasts at...
