Jealous of all the cool stuff people here have hobbies of.

Nice to see other car owners. Also was a fox body guy. My 93 Gt was featured in Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords in 03 and 5.0 Mustangs and Super Fords in 02. It was also used in some advertising ads. We had an 89 LX hatch and the silver 90 LX Hatch Shelby. Had a 03 Redfire Terminator and now a 12 GT500 with a VMP 2.3 blower.

The main hobby I’m in now is Pinball. I wonder how many of the younger crowd has seen them. We also love cats. Karolina is a pure bred Siberian.

Working on a new blade in the shop for this winter. Thinking about the heat treat process & if I should pull the trigger on an oven, so I don't have to send out for that part of the process. I'm still just doing "stock removal" with my grinder (relatively new to this stuff), no forging at this point, so a propane forge would be cheaper, but temperature control is better with a real oven & proper temp settings, hmmm. Here's the grinder, single speed, 1 hp, some bought some parts, made the rest. The frame is made from 2 1/2" & 2" receiver hitch-tube material, so the tool rest & roller read can slide for adjustments.

Here's the new blade, a bunch of things "wrong" on this one I don't really like, but I'll refine the pattern for the next version & make a few changes to do a better blade. Still enjoy working with my hands, lucky to have the time & a place to work & the ability to see it & make it. This one is 0.21" thick 5160 steel (basically it's a leaf spring material, tough & relatively hard when done correctly), it's just under 12" long & 1 1/4" at its widest point. Will have black canvas micarta for the grip with stainless steel pins & epoxy to fasten it together. Will post once I have it finished & will post the "new one" which will be an improved design. Similar to a Japanese Kiwaken knife.

Great hobbies here. I guess I am a collector of hobbies. Currently focused on photography mostly nature photography and lanscapes. Also collecting some nice wines. Previous hobbies include but not limited to. Target Shooting both Firearm and Archery, Wine and Beer making, HAM radio, Audio and Home Theater, RC cars, painting, drawing, Bicycle racing, motorcycle drag racing, fishing, boating, kayaking, some I cant remember.

Nice collection there Sid. I think I can guess what the other walls look like. I have a friend who turned his garage into his man cave and he has a collection of remote and gas powered planes hanging from his ceiling. It's a really cool hobby and I've been out with him a few times flying.

I hope to ride my fat bike soon too...lost traction on the rear tire on a wet wooden bridge a little over a week ago and ended up spraining my ankle pretty bad. I’ll be on the sidelines for a while. Set up a Minion FBR tubeless tonight for a more aggressive rear tire which should help in the future. Can’t ever go wrong with a Minion.
