On the above mentioned trip I found that the topper had slid forward and touched my cab. No damage but I wanted to make sure this could never happen again.

I bought some 1-1/2" aluminum angle from Home Depot and drilled some mounting holes and used some t-nuts I had leftover from a Xtrusion Overland project and I was able to bolt in a "stop" to prevent it from sliding forward past new bracket.

That is why I bolted my bedrack and Tonneau cover to the bed rails. Did not trust the screw down clamps.

Has anyone else had problems with Dirtbox Overland cross bars? I purchased the Truck Bed Topper Roof Top Cross Bars and on one of them I cannot get the t-nuts to enter the top channel. I am using the same 5/16-18 t-nuts that I have used throughout the rest of the topper. My t-nuts work on both sides of the cross bar but not the top. I was trying to mount my solar panel and could not get it to fit. Below is a link to a video I posted on YouTube showing the problem
