I'd like some real flaps, not the molded snow and mud catchers. The OEM rubber ones are outrageously expensive. So far I like the RokBlokz but not sure of what size to get with the FX4 package (stock tires). They don't say what size they are in the pics, but they could be longer.

Still no word on Rallyarmor. I need to get these by the end of the month when my truck gets here. I don't want to drive w/o them.

What else is out there reasonably priced?

I contacted RokBlokz and the ones in the pictures on their site are regular size, not XL.

Does anyone have pics of the RokBlokz XL on a stock FX4?

I found a thread on Colorado forums where a lot of them have run the universal XL RoadBlokz. They definitely look like the right size.

I'm personally still holding out for Rally Armor UR. I'm really hoping they make the announcement soon! :headbang:

There are seven pages of mud flapping here already: https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/mud-flaps.3026/page-7
Yes but I'm looking for an actual mud flap, not solid mud guards which most of that thread is about. Apparently it's a terminology thing.

Autonation has the rubber Ford flaps (and all Ford accessories) at a significant discount. Full set MSRP $165, they have them for $126. That just happens to be where I bought my truck too.

Ford ones are only $80/pair on ebay from Ford dealers that sell parts. Rears have Ranger specific instructions in the very back of the packet.

I'm leaning heavily towards the RokBlokz, hoping that they will adapt well with future fender flare additions. I was considering waiting for the Rally Armor set, but if they are priced anything near the Raptor offerings, then they'd be out of my price range, unfortunately.

I think I’m done waiting for the Rally Armors. I emailed them again and their response now was that they will start working on the Ranger flaps once they launch their Tesla ones. If they haven’t started them yet it’s too late for me as the snow is already here!

Tesla. Right, because they have a bigger need for mud flaps than pickup trucks. Wow.

I keep eyeing those Ford heavy duty flaps. They're not what I originally had in mind but they looking like a good option more and more.

Me too... either that or just getting some universal Rally Armors. @fusseli, how do the Ford ones mount? Are they just universal?

I emailed them a few days ago and they said they are working on them too. I also reminded them of the need right now with it being November, and I pointed them to this site with frustrated Ranger owners. I'm going with the RokBlokz XL since my truck will be here in less than 2 weeks. It will be the first thing I do when I get it home.

Honestly, now that I think about it I may just end up getting the universal RA UR Plus flaps and make them work for the setup I have in mind with possibly adding a fender extension of some kind. Part of what we pay for to get the RA flaps is the R&D for fitment so I have a hard time pulling the trigger on $130 flaps that require me to source my own hardware and figure out fitment. :headbang:
