Well, it depends on how you have equipped your truck. I have Shrockworks rock rails (they bolt to the frame) and used a Hi-lift jack to lift the truck to change a front tire that went flat.
no rock rails on mine. I could use the hi lift on the front winch bumper but nothin on the rear or sides.

the issue with the 5g is not having a good spot for the hi lift style jacks to lift from. the bumpers are too weak. of course the body is too week. frame is too far under.

Here's an alternative to safe jack. I just picked up the Power Mountain Tallboy, includes the jack, extensions, base and bag and is about half the price. I jacked up the truck in the garage and it works great.

I bought a kit from these guys:

https://safejacks.com/collections/

Bottle and attachments store in a .50 cal can. Added a stabilizer plate. My truck's not lifted but Safejacks does make special gear for hi-lift.
I can't say enough good about U.S. Jack. They're very expensive ($315) and they have great customer support. And, importantly, made in America.

The first time I used it, it had a leak. They got a new one to me within a week and that one's been fantastic.

I've kept it in my SwingCase, so I'll be anxious to see how it did come spring from being out in freezing weather (should be fine, my 40 or 50 year old one's had a rough life).
