Sorry, I know there are plenty of threads on this topic already. I just wanted to know if anyone has or recommends applying the stainless steel letters to the tailgate using the wet method. I am so OCD and I don’t want to mess this up.

I don't have the SS ones I have the black ones and they were super easy to install dry. Do a dry fit first than once you pull the tape just align the top corners and they line up perfectly. I think it took me 10-15 minutes to apply them. No need to worry, I'm super OCD too and these are a breeze to apply.:like:

I just did the peel and stick method too. Take your time and you’ll be fine! Some guys on here removed the tailgate and laid it down flat. That would definitely make it even easier.

OK, I put them on. It wasn’t too bad. It was pretty cold so I had to use a hair dryer to warm up the letters and the tailgate. Thanks for the advice.

They came out good! :like: Unless you pulled it off already it looks like you might have the plastic still on the front of the letters. I forgot to peel one of mine lol.

It’s just a bad picture, I peeled off the plastic. That was probably the toughest part!
