I have been been looking at these or the Weathertech which are also molded but a little longer. Did you ever get them? If so did you install and how did they work out?

Thanks - did you have to remove the tires? I'm not inclined to do myself although I'd consider if I could see install instructions. Dealer claims they would have to remove tires and $$$. I had them put on the Borla/Ford cat back and it came with great instructions but I haven't found any online.

Very easy to do yourself,15 minutes max and you dont have to remove the tires. I tossed the directions but just a couple of holes to drill and couple screws and clips, very easy. Bret

No need to remove the wheels...you can turn the front tires to give you space. The back wasn't a problem.

Bump....sort of.

I went to order the Ford mudflaps for my '21 4WD crew cab, and the parts guy threw me a curve. Said he did not know for sure the flaps I wanted would fit my truck as they were designated for the FX4 version and did not mention they'd fit the regular 4WD. Apparently there's something different about the fenders (trim or something maybe?) between the FX4 and non-FX4.

Do any of you that have the non-FX4 trucks have the shorter, molded Ford mudflaps on your Ranger, and if so was there a fitment issue?

Thanks for your wisdom and experiences (and pics if you have them!)

You did not say which ones you were trying to order.

I have the molded ones on my 2020 non-FX4 4x4.

Rear: KB3Z-16A550-BB

Tremors are different than non-Tremors.

What dealer are you using?

I went ahead and ordered those you referenced. The parts guy was making the distinction between FX4 and non-FX4, not between Tremor and non-Tremor and that's where it struck me as wrong. I've seen the conversations here about Tremor flaps being different than regular trucks.

I just wanted the shorter, less conspicuous flaps for my pavement princess for now.

I went to Peoria Ford where I normally get my service done because I know they'll let me use my points. Parts guy did not inspire a lot of confidence, unfortunately.
Do you have a pic or two of yours on the truck you don't mind sharing?
