Well, I wouldn't go that far. lol While you're at it might as well put the high beam clicker back on the floor too. :giggle:
You know, I had a hell of a time when they changed that thing to the steering column. Kept getting my dang left foot caught up in the steering wheel. :bandit:

Wow foot clicker I forgot about those. I had a Dodge Polara with one. Push button trans and park was a throw lever.

Regarding the chips, having an old truck or something like a KLR650 feels like good insurance these days. I've started browsing the classifieds myself.
Azscorpion, I watch the state of the economy every day, we are going down a bad road and its to the point we cant kick the can any more, there is so much more to it, its just not fixable and can only get worse from here..... to put vehilcles in prospective Fords 30% dip is really the same as toyota 14% because they have out sold most other manufactures 2 to one for a long time now, its the average over all of how we are doing, dont even get me started on the used market it has fallen apart and at more than 2 times the Repos, people are putting food and gas on credit card, how TF are they buying vehicles
(recession is when your neighbor loses his job, Depression is when you lose yours)

so, MountainGoat, its a good idea for more than one reason, older motorcycles will also run after an EMP :)
my other truck is a Chevy 3/4 ton believe it or not, Only has 41k on it, 52 years old and runs like a top! the older trucks were just a Beast!
If something breaks its cheap, all you need is gas and spark, ahhh something two people can sit under the hood and fix with a screw driver and bubble gum LOL
(spoiler alert: its going to end poorly)

We all know it but can't change it and are trying to have fun in the meantime.
I had a push button Chrysler product too.
