I think he thought (As well as I did) it was Fk The World as that's another popular slang use for it.

Oh yeah, that’s how I roll - biker culture, punk scenes - all that stuff. 😀
It has nothing to do with how you roll it's just a popular saying here in the US and it can be offensive. It's very common to see it on someone's knuckles spread across 3 fingers. Maybe it was an east coast thing but I saw it pretty regularly there.
