Hi
As you see from my title the new tires that were installed rubs. I went with the tire size after reading numerous threads in this forum that the size will not rub.
Question, will a 2.5 lift in the front fix the rubbing?

You can probably loosen the bolts and push the crash bar forward. There is some play in them.

A 2.5" lift will definitely help you clear.

You really should be able to fit the 265/70r17 without lifting the front though.

Hi
Question, I will assume driving straight forward and slight turns will not affect the tires? The pics I sent are at full turns.

I have same size in BFG KO2's & no problems rubbing, but wheels are also 7.5" width versus yours which is 8".

Makes me wonder about the wheels I have on order, which are 8.5" wide(Ford Performance overseas Raptor rims). ?

I believe I read Ford Performance Ranger was put together with LT265/70R17, their leveling kit & those Raptor wheels so I think it'll be okay, but I guess I'll find out....

Interesting, do you have a leveling kit with your KO2s?

Interesting. I went with Continental Terrain Contact AT's in 265/70x17 and they clear fine. I did go up 3/4" in the front with Eibach Pro-Truck shocks/struts. Every brand tire is a little different in actual size. Mine were 1' taller and 1/2" wider at the tread.

I do now, but I've run these KO2's as soon as I got the truck in Spring of '22. Leveling kit in summer of '24. Come to think of it, I think my tires have rubbed in extreme situations probably like fully turned on uneven terrain off-roading or something like that. Very light rubbing I forgot all about it.

I had that same size with goodyear duratracs, never had any rubbing except maybe at full lock hitting a bump... a level will take care of the issue. Once I did that on mine never had any rubbing til I threw wheel spacers on and went to a 275/70/17 KO3.

I would definitely see if you can loosen the bolts on the front crash bars and push them forward a bit.

It will only affect the tires when you turn them and they make contact. No issues driving straight or small turning.

Tirerack says that tire is 31.7 in diameter, which is pretty typical of 265/70/17 and it should not rub. Is it rubbing on both sides?

Yes it is. I didn't have the deeper socket to get to the bolts but I will try to loosen the bolts today and push the bars

This one has been bugging me. Side by side of mine and yours. Granted, I went up 3/4" but that is not much. It does look like your crash bar is a bit farther back than mine compared to the inner fender. Not by much.
