Another tire update. These tires are HORRIBLE in the rain. Even with just a bit of throttle these will break loose. I suspect it's just a harder compound and lack of rear end weight but I have to be very careful in the rain. Gonna have to find some sand bags for the winter.
Hi Steve, from another Steve in Idaho. We have snow coming most of next week. We have not had much rain here in Ada County so haven't experienced traction issues but they have done good on my adventures in the mud and snow up in Valley Co.

With these tires and the Ford Performance level kit I got 16.7 mph at 70-75 mph. Hopefully a tune will help with that.

Honestly I have heard good an bad things about duratracs, ended up going the 265/75/16 Cooper ST Maxx and love them, haven’t had any issues in rain and snow traction is awesome. Did lose about 2-3mpg as well, unfortunately. Oh whale
