You look a fit guy. You won't need a tailgate damper unless you are wanting your arms to atrophy and look like Steve Urkel.
You say that like it's a bad thing  ?

A tailgate damper I'm assuming? (I haven't seen any damper kits for the front suspension/steering components yet.)

No, it does not have one installed currently. Any recommendations on which kit to purchase?
Oh, you just had to ask, didn’t you.

And you were off to such a good start, too.

Welcome, nice truck, l like the Cactus Grey color, wasn't available when I got my 2019 XLT FX4 in Lightning Blue.

You came to the right place for help spending your money, so watch your wallet.
I believe it! I'm not opposed to shelling out for upgrades, but my GF may say otherwise. haha

Welcome! I just moved away from AZ (lived in the valley in Goodyear) but we've done a lot of off roading in Sedona and UT. You'd be surprised what this truck can do even stock and like James said if you add a tune it takes off like a rocket. ?

This was my '19 all stock with a 2.5" level and 33's, well 32.6 for the technical ones out there. I changed it out to Eibach suspension all around which made a huge difference and much better than a level kit.

I appreciate the pictures for context! If you have any recommendations for trails or camping spots over on the east side of the state (or beyond), I'd love to hear them!

We just visited Sedona for the first time back in October and camped up in Kaibab National Forest next to the Grand Canyon South Rim not too long before that.

We were eyeballing Southeast of Williams, AZ. over by Sycamore Canyon for our next weekend trip.

I'm not entirely against the idea of tuning it so long as the Dealership will honor the warranty still and I can find a tuner that will set me up for 91 octane... I'll have to give them a call and see what they say.

My old Infiniti I traded in was turned up to approximately 420HP and nearly 500LBFT, but in the 50,000 miles I owned it (64-115k), I had to replace both turbos on two separate occasions due to failing compressor seals. (once for natural wear/tear mileage and a second time for bad fuel and over boosting at high altitude) Makes me hesitant to tune it if Ford Motor Co and/or the dealer is going to give me a hard time about upping the boost.
I had my '19 tuned (as do many here) at 2,000 miles with a Livernois tune and ran their 91-93 Performance tune. It really wakes the truck up and is easy to flash it on/off if needed. When we were off road I'd usually flash it back to stock because it was to aggressive tuned when you're trying to rock crawl or lightly feather the gas.

Ive never been over that way but there are many here who can give you really good places to camp and off road over that way. You could always make a thread in the off road section or in the Locals section asking for more detailed info on specific areas.

Thank you, much, good sir! I appreciate it.
My pleasure, it's always nice to have another damper member. Don't listen to the naysayers they don't know what they're missing. :bandit:

Welcome to the group Troy. Awesome truck, great color!

These guys are a bad influence I think your truck is great the way it is! ?

If you put that damper on your tailgate; you had better warn the lovely lady in your avatar about the swarms of super models that will come to ask to sit on your tailgate after they see it drop.

Please, forgive me father for I have sinned.
Say seven hail marys, ten our fathers, and if you think about dampers again, try cold showers.

Oh, and @AzScorpion forgot to include a map of his favourite camping spots…
