New to me, ‘22 Lariat FX4

Hi all,

I just picked up a ‘22 Lariat FX4 in Cyber Orange with the Splash Package. Pretty happy with the truck so far, my first Ranger and first Ford in general. I daily drove a first gen Tacoma for about 10 years, had a first gen Ridgeline for a bit, squarebody Chevy, and grew up driving my dad’s GMT400 Silverados. I’ll be lurking around for when I’m ready to start making changes but for now I’m happy out of the box.

Pretty looking ride buddy. Lots of yellow ?. Still very nice, haven’t seen the splash package before (only heard of it and recall a previous ranger having a similar package name.) as I look at it…it’s yellow is becoming better looking..

anyway welcome as you probably already know this is a good place to help guide you in ways to lighten your wallet buying truck stuff…
If you’re in California unfortunately if you want to tune the Ranger it’s better to get (currently) a 19-21 Ranger.. carb wants more money for the 22-23 model years… yes there are ways but it’s a hassle ?‍?

I'm a first time Ford owner, and first time American owner for that matter. I love this truck. I owned a 93 toyota, which is a great truck, but when I shopped for a new truck this one checked all the boxes for me.

I'd replace your lug nuts with one piece black to complete your Black package, and to avoid problems in the future.
